ICRS 2021, also known as the 14thย International Coral Reef Symposium, is the primary international conference on coral reef science, conservation and management, bringing together leading scientists, early career researchers, conservationists, ocean experts, policy makers, managers and the public.
ICRS 2021ย will be the key event to develop science-based solutions addressing the present and future challenges of coral reefs, which areย globallyย exposed to unprecedented anthropogenic pressures. The five-day program will present the latest scientific findings and ideas, provide a platformย to build the essential bridges between coral reef science, conservation, politics, management and the public, and will promote public and political outreach.

The conference is organized by PhD students of the MSc/PhD Molecular Biology Program - International Max Planck Research School at the University of Gรถttingen. The aim of the Symposium is to bring together senior scientists and young researchers from different fields to promote scientific exchange and to provide exciting insights into the frontiers of Molecular Biology.
