This course will cover algorithms for solving various biological problems along with a handful of programming challenges helping you implement these algorithms in Python. It offers a gently-paced introduction to our Bioinformatics Specialization, preparing learners to take the first course in the Specialization, "Finding Hidden Messages in DNA".

We are pleased to invite you to the international Conference of Young Ecologists and Evolutionary Biologists 2021, organised by the Students Naturalists Association of the Jagiellonian University! This year, the conference will take place on 3-5 September 2021. The meeting will be held online on the MS Teams platform and will be completely free! In brief:
• Topics of the conference include broadly understood ecology and evolution.
• Participate in the conference can any young scientist, including science enthusiasts and BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. students.
Australian Mammal Society Conference 2021

Conference Theme
The 67th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian Mammal Society (AMS) will be held online from 28th September to 1st October 2021, hosted by a Perth committee.
The virtual conference will begin with the first day of student workshops, followed by a 3-day scientific program, with presentations grouped by theme. The AMS will hold an annual general meeting (AGM) on the second day of the scientific program.

Conference Theme
The CitSci India Conference for Biodiversity is hosted as part of the preparatory phase project of the National Mission on Biodiversity and Human Well-being (NMBHWB). The conference is a virtual meeting of various stakeholders such as practitioners of citizen science, researchers, educators, students, policy makers, and individual contributors, who actively engage in citizen science.
The 2nd Annual National Conference on Citizen Science for Biodiversity: CitSci India 2021, will bring together participants to discuss various themes such as project outcomes, success stories, data sharing policies, best practices as well as gaps and priorities in a series of invited talks, panel discussions and oral presentations.
